Gas Burner

Gas Burner

A Gas Burner is a device which can burn fluids and gases like Oil, Alcohol, and Petroluem Fuels to generate Heat.
Unlike other heat sources, the maximum Temperature of the burner can be set using Redstone. This allows for more precise control over Cooking and Smelting.
The gas burner does not increase in temperature from a Bellows' air supply.

Gas Burners will indicate their max temp level through a meter on one face.

Redstone Control

This device has many functions that can be controlled with Redstone:

  • Supplying a signal strength of 15 will ignite the burner.
  • Removing all redstone signals will extinguish the burner.
  • The maximum temperature of the burner can be set by supplying redstone with signals between 3-14.
  • Comparator output will read the current fuel level.
Functions

Gas Burners can be supplied automatically using Fluid Pipes, or manually with 右键 while holding a container of fluid.
Inside their interface will show:

  • The heat level, with a bar indicating maximum set temperature.
  • A flame progress bar which displays the time left, and fuel burn temp when hovered over.
  • Fuel tank with bucket in/out slots.

Burners have many useful applications. You can use them for any device which can be supplied with heat from the bottom, such as Crucibles, Grills, Pots, and Ovens, as well as any Create mechanical machines that need a heat source.
