To make cheese, milk must be curdled first. To curdle milk, you need Rennet. Rennet comes from the stomach of Ruminant animals. This includes Yaks, Cows, Sheep, Goats, and Musk Oxen. To curdle milk, seal it in a Barrel with Rennet for 4 hours.
Curdled milk can then be converted to Curds by sealing it in a barrel with Cheesecloth. Cheesecloth is not reusable.
Cheese curds can be mixed with a few ingredients and fried to make Beer Battered Cheese Curds or aged into wet and dry cheeses.
Cheese wheels are blocks made from Cheese Curds. To improve their shelf life, cheese wheels should be Aged in a Cellar. In order to obtain edible cheese from a cheese wheel, it should be sliced off the wheel by clicking ПКМ with a Knife. If the wheel is sliced or broken, the aging is lost!
Dry Cheeses are made from curds and salt, while Wet Cheeses are aged in seawater.
The aging stages of a wheel of cheese: Fresh + 28 Days → Aged + 112 Days → Vintage.
