There are a vast amount of items, materials, and fluids that you will accumulate in TerraFirmaGreg. It will be important to set up vast storage systems to organize everything. Some of the most important aspects of storage is its capacity and restrictions. For on-the-go inventory management you should read up on Personal Storage.

Chest can store 18 items or 36 items for double chests. Chests can hold item sized up to Large.
If Food Items are present in chests then it will attract rodents. So it is best to store them in Vessels.

For storage, GregTech has Crates which can hold all sizes of items, with advancing tiers having larger capacity, from 27 to 144 slots.
Crates support logistics covers such as Item Filters, and Rotten Voiding Covers.
You can even wrap crates with Tape to keep their contents when broken, allowing you to transport large quantities of items.

Create Vaults are a great method for consolidating a large amount of items, or for adding storage to moving contraptions.
Vaults can be built into large 3D structures to expand their storage by 20 slots per vault. You cannot add/remove items to vaults manually, you will need to use item logistics such as hoppers.

Super and Quantum chests are the best way to store and absurd quantity of one item type. The amount of items the chest can hold increases per tier, from 10,000 to 1,024,000,000. Super chests also have built in item voiding, locking, and auto-extraction options.

Advanced Energistics Drives and Cells allow you to digitize your storage into a very capable and dense logistics and crafting network. Connect an ME Controller and Terminal to view items inside.

Kegs have the unique ability to store large amounts of items and fluids.
Kegs can hold any fluid a barrel can, up to 80,000 mB worth, and can hold up to 36 stacks of Large items.

Kegs cannot process recipes or age alcohol like barrels.

Barrels aren't just useful for recipes. They are a very cheap way of holding plenty of fluid, up to 10,000 mB per barrel.
When placed on their side, barrels can drip fluid from their tap into containers below, allowing them to auto-ouput at a steady rate.
You can carry a filled barrel on your back to transport its contents.

Drums are great for storing and carrying fluids. These can hold a large amount of a single fluid type, and different tiers hold more, from 32,000 to 1,024,000 mB worth.

Drums will retain their fluid when broken, making them ideal for moving fluids around.

Drums can automatically push fluid out of their bottom face by Right Click them with a Soft Mallet or Screwdriver.

Fluid Tanks can be seen as the fluid version of Vaults. Individual tanks hold 32,000 mB each, and can be formed into structures to expand their capacity.

Multi-Fluid Tanks can hold multiple fluid types at a time, but cannot be interacted with manually.

Multiblock Tanks are structures dedicated to storing large quantities of fluids. Each type can have up to two valves and increase in capacity by tier.

• Bronze Tank: 4,000,000 mB Capacity
• Steel Tank: 8,000,000 mB Capacity

Super and Quantum tanks work similarly to their Super Chest counterparts. They can store an absurd amount of one type of fluid―ranging from 1,000,000 to 1,024,000,000 mb―increasing by tier.
Super Tanks have options for auto-output, voiding, and locking.
