Beneath Crops

Crops in the beneath behave just the same as crops on the surface; they have hydration, temperature, and nutrient requirements. You can even plant them in Greenhouses.

An important concern when planting crops in the Beneath is that crops require a light level of 12, which isn't provided by the Beneath's natural light. To solve this problem, you can utilize Lava Aqueducts or any other available light source.

Cassava can be eaten for Vegetable nutrition, although it is best cooked before consumed.

Peanut

Nutrient: Potassium

Peanuts can be eaten for Vegetable and Protein nutrition

Blackstone Beans

Blackstone Beans can be eaten for Vegetable and Protein nutrition. However, they must be cooked first!

Ghost Pepper

Temperature: 10 - 80 °C
Hydration: 20 - 80 %
Nutrient: Nitrogen

Ghost Peppers can be eaten for Vegetable nutrition. They are also a common snack among the inhabitants of the Beneath.

Cotton

Temperature: 10 - 80 °C
Hydration: 40 - 100 %
Nutrient: Nitrogen

Cotton is a two block tall crop. Cotton seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Cotton Balls which can be processed into Cotton String or Cloth.
