Fertilization

Fertilizers are used to add nutrients to crops. Right Click with a fertilizer in your hand on some Farmland, Planter or a Crop to add the nutrients. Particles should appear, indicating the fertilizer was added.
You can find nutrient information in a fertilizers' tooltip. The next few pages list some available fertilizers.

Compost

Compost is the product of the Composter.

  • Nitrogen: 40
  • Phosphorous: 20
  • Potassium: 40
Bone Meal

Bonemeal is made of crushed bones.

  • Phosphorous: 10
Saltpeter

Saltpeter is made from its ore.

  • Nitrogen: 10
  • Potassium: 40
Guano

Guano is found deep underground and on gravelly shores.

  • Nitrogen: 80
  • Phosphorous: 50
  • Potassium: 10
Wood Ash

Wood ash is produced by breaking firepits. Throwing a torch item into water also has a chance to produce ash.

Sylvite

Sylvite is made from its ore.

Pure Fertilizers

Different methods are available for creating or extracting pure fertilizers. These fertilizers can serve as a condensed method of raising farmland nutrients.

  • Potassium: 100
    Or
  • Nitrogen: 100
    Or
  • Phosphorous: 100
Fertilizer

Fertilizer contains an even spread of nutrient types. Crafting it from compost will give an overall higher yield in nutrients.
